Hera - Questions for 7/24

1. In his essay on teacher responses, Straub presents and analyzes various types of teachers' responses to a student's essays. Which response closely reflects your own approach? What was missing? Do Straub's insights encourage you to modify your approach: if so, then how?

2. In "What is a Grade", Belanoff espouses a grading philosophy based on relativity which she says is the sum of all the papers she has read as well as her own individual way of reading? To what extent do you agree or disagree with this philosophy and why?
