John 7-24

1. What are some challenges/fears you are facing when it comes to devising your strategy for grading? What are some potential ways (perhaps new things you 'borrowed' [plagiarized] from the readings) to assuage these challenges/fears?

Personally, I've been thinking a lot about how I will be including revision into my grading in a way that doesn't scream "extra credit" so I've been considering doing something with conferences or portfolio grading, though I am still unsure.

2. Did you agree with Elbow's "bottom-line" grading (H and U)? To me it seems sort of a strange half/quarter-measure, like normal grading without a midsection, but maybe I'm just not getting it.
