2. Annaliisa, you read my mind! I was definitely relieved to read some pedagogy theory on grammar because, though it's not our focus and we're not supposed to be "bleeding all over the paper", it's still something that needs to be addressed in both the classroom and RWC. I liked Bishop's idea of encouraging the student to get out as many rough ideas in the drafting process before really fine-tuning for grammar and syntax. This helps encourage a flow of thought and keeps writers from attaching themselves too much to their polished work that may not actually contribute much to the paper, in the end.
